Jeff Siljenberg has been using motion pictures to tell stories from a young age. Starting out with video submissions to the Minnesota State Fair in his high school years, Jeff went on to achieve a masters in Cinematography from the American Film Institute.

 

He currently resides in Los Angeles CA where he continues to hone his craft with his professional work as a set lighting tech with IATSE Local 728. This work allows him to bring the expertise of lighting design to further enhance his visual filmmaking.

 

His recent films include the My Forked Dating Life an interactive 3D short that was accepted into the upcoming New Images Festival in Paris, and 48 hour films Reasonable Doubt screening at Filmapalooza in Lisbon, and The Weight nominated for best Cinematography.

 

In his downtime Jeff enjoys travel photography and camping in National Parks, dragging his wife and dog along as his camera assistants.
